Ombre Nails & Ciaté Love Letter

 Bonjour!! Aujourd'hui je vous montre mon deuxième achat coupable des soldes, qui n'était pas en soldes of course, sinon c'est pas drôle, le Love Letter de Ciaté.

Un vernis duochrome rose-orangé gorgé de paillettes , c'est juste une tuerie!! Pour le mettre en valeur, j'ai commencé par un ombré nails qui sent bon le melon et la pastèque avec Roguish Red de China Glaze, Orange it's Obvious d'Essie (il me manquait une teinte intermédiaire donc j'ai mis une couche de Pink Plumeria), Pink Plumeria de China Glaze, Tart Deco d'Essie et 359 de Kiko.

Et ensuite, j'ai sorti mon vernis magique!!

 

 

J'ai porté cette manucure pour la soirée de thèse de mon pote la semaine dernière et elle a eu vraiment beaucoup de succès et j'ai eu un pincement au cœur de l'enlever!! Et j'ai tellement craqué sur ce vernis à paillettes que j'en ai offert un flacon à Steph, forcément, y'a du orange!!

De la pêche melba sur mes doigts - Kiko 359

 Bonjour! Mine de rien, entre le post de Barbara, la journée d'absence et les vieilles photos, ça fait un bail qu'on n'a pas vu mes ongles par ici! Ils sont toujours en petite forme (j'ai fait une grosse crise d'eczéma à cause du stress et de la fatigue des dernières semaines, donc dyshidrose autour des ongles et plaque déformée), mais je continue à les bichonner et à y aller mollo niveau vernis et dissolvant. Comme ma crème chérie de tous les temps, le traitement intensif à l'Amande du Body Shop, n'existe plus, j'ai acheté La Main Verte de Lush, j'espère que ce sera suffisant et que mes mimimes ne vont pas en souffrir. 

Aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé de vous montrer un des vernis que j'ai rapporté de Paris, il y avait des promotions chez Kiko donc j'en ai pris quelque-uns. Celui-ci est le 359, un joli orangé/pêche très doux et très sympa à cette saison. Comme toujours avec Kiko, l'application est facile, le pinceau est à la bonne taille pour moi. J'aurais peut-être dû attendre un peu plus entre les couches vu qu'à deux moi je vois encore des défauts. Mais comme je l'ai décoré par la suite (vous verrez ça demain), je suis pas allée jusqu'à trois.

 

 

Et pour vous montrez ce que j'ai fait les jours derniers, voici quelques photos du nouvel aménagement de mon bureau. En haut la partie Bureau/Nail station où j'ai enfin pu installer le présentoir OPI et toutes mes licornes Tokidoki, et en-dessous la partie "lecture".

Orly Birds of a Feather Part 1

Hi! I feel like a very bad girl this week, not posting as much as I used to. I was very busy with family affairs yesterday still, and I'm near the end of my stock of picture so I really couldn't write anything in the little time I had. This morning, after the first complete night of sleep I've had for two weeks, I could finally settle down in my office and take some time for me. And I actually realised that my nails didn't look as bad as I thought and had grown to a picture-acceptable length. So I decided to finally show you Orly's Birds of a Feather Autumn collection. I'm splitting it in two parts, first showing the colours that are unusual for me, and in a second time I'll show you the colours that are more present in my stash, with comparisons.

Peachy Parrot. It's quite orange for a peach, and too orange for me to like. It applies well, is opaque in two coats and the slight brushstrokes disappear when it's dry. If you like it, I'm not keeping it so drop me an email.

Lucky Duck. The only cream of the collection, but as cream goes, it's really good. Very easy application, so easy that you feel it won't be opaque in two coats, but it is. And it's fantastically glossy. In terms of colour, it reminds me of Don't Mess With OPI from the Texas Collection. I'm really not a green girl (well, for nails, I am very earth-friendly and responsible in everyday life), so it's not a keeper either, it's part of my swap/sale catalog.

Sweet Peacock. OMG! Am I turning into a blue girl?? I had such a crush on that one when I saw it on Tenshi's blog. This blue is one of the hit-colour of this Fall, OPI did it with Swimsuit... Nailed It! from the Miss Universe collection and Orly has another quite close colour in the Mineral FX upcoming collection. And while I wouldn't have called it a fall colour naturally, it's actually a very good transition, a sort of reminder of the sea and swimming pool of summer but darker as befits Fall. I've had it on my feet for two weeks and it still hypnotises me.

Application is not that easy: it's so packed with glitter that the first coat is uneven in terms of colour and it needs shaking to avoid clumps. Removal is a bit messy too, just like with any foil. But all of this is totally worth it!!
