Essie Sure Shot

Hi girls! Remember me, the nail-blogger who used to post everyday? I really feel bad, my current life is filled with work, issues in my private life and sickness. Nothing major but little things that steal all my time. To finish the review of Essie Resort Collection for 2012, I have to show you a fuchsia/magenta polish, this didn't help: you know how hard those are to photograph for my camera, and I swear I've taken hundreds of pictures without ever managing to capture its true beauty.

In the bottle, you can see the blue undertone and the silver shimmer. On the nails, after an easy application and two coats, it looks like raspberry candy.

Sorry for the zombie hands on the last pics, but it was the only way to come closer to the true colour. No surprise here, I love this color (you can see how the bottle is already well emptied)! It could be my favourite from the collection, but as often, I'm even more in love with the one I didn't expect to like, the blue No More Film!! But all four of them are really pretty, with very easy application and super glossy finish.
I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go celebrate my birthday in Mickey Heaven, so no post before Sunday I'm afraid, but then I'll have plenty of things to tell you!!

Essie - She's Picture Perfect

Yesterday in my mammoth post I showed you two polishes from Essie Resort Collection 2012 so I still have two others to present. Today is the periwinkle lavender She's Picture Perfect that you already glimpsed in my Easter Bunny nail-art.

As you can see, this polish has some pink shimmer that's quite hard to catch on picture but is visible on the nails.

Easy application (thank you Essie for understanding that a mini-polish doesn't mean a mini-brush!!), opacity in two coats, I really have nothing negative to say about this polish, I luuurve it!!

In the shade, it almost looks blue.

And though the shimmer is discreet, it does show and give a lovely twist to this spring shade.
