OPI Have you seen my Limo?

Edit : I've been posting pictures in a non-chronological manner, some messages were prepared a week ago, and some others were posted on the day I wore the polish, which is why the presence of watermarks is inconsistent.
You didn't really expect me to pass on if there was a purple in the Holiday in Hollywood collection, did you? So here it is, a beautiful purple duochrome that goes from grape to plum, and with subtle silver and green shimmer. The pictures show the duochrome, but not the shimmer...
Same as before, this is two coats, good application, perfect opacity. It's quite funny to have the plastic coat on the cap that says "exclusive new pro-wide brush". We're so used to OPI's wide brush now that it's easy to forget how it was before. But I have a couple of really old bottles and they take some getting used to because of the tiny slim brush!!

I have quite a lot of purples and violets in my collection but this one seems quite unique. I'll have to take out some other bottles to make a comparison and try to highlight it's uniqueness.
But that's for another day, it's all for now folks!!

OPI My Big Break

Another day, another OPI, another pink. Surprisingly enough, pink is not the colour that's most present in my Helmer, but many of my late purchases (before I entered the no-buy desert) were pinks. This is an old OPI from 2007 Holiday in Hollywood collection, which was mostly composed of multichromes. My Big Break is no exception even if said multichrome proved almost  impossible to show on pictures. This magenta pink is packed with silver and green shimmer but you'll have to take my word for it. Below is two coats with Seche Vite, application is easy, not too brushstrokey and with good opacity.

This is the only way I managed to show the glitter on pics, though it is really visible in real life.

See you soon folks for another jewel of this collection
