Deborah Milano Shine Tech 59

Today's polish is a lucky find since I don't usually look at the Deborah Milano counter, and I still can't figure out why I went there that day. But I'm happy I did since I found this little jewel. It's a mauve, one of those smokey colours that have been so fashionable over the last years. Actually when I saw it, I thought it might be close to Chanel Paradoxal, but the base colour is definitely mauve and not taupe. It does have a pink/purple shimmer though and it's what made me fall for it. And now to the pictures!

Here you can see the base colour of smokey mauve. This picture shows all the defects of my nails, but I wanted to show both the colour and the satin-finish.

The Deborah brush is weirdly shaped, it's cut in biais, but the polish is really easy to apply. I wouldn't recommend skipping top-coat though since, as you can see, it's not very smooth nor shiny. You can have a glimpse of the shimmer in the bottle.

But with top-coat, it's perfectly smooth and shiny and gives a very classy look.

And finally, you can catch a bit of the shimmer on the nail, though it's still more visible in the bottle. But no worries, in real life, it's really there, there's no mistaking that polish for a cream. So it's a total win, and for a very good price since Deborah Milano polishes cost less than 7 euros.
