Valentine's Day Stamping

Houray, it's snowing!! We haven't had much snow in Burgundy this year and it's the first time that there's a real white blanket, so as usual, I'm as happy as a schoolgirl. I love snow, and I terribly miss it if I don't see any in the winter. So right now, I'm sitting in my office, and this is what I see through the window:

But today being Feb. 14th, my inspiration of the day isn't snow, it's cheesy pink fluffy heart stuff. I had  not really intended to do anything Valentine related, but after filing down my nails yesterday to even them out, I felt like wearing OPI From Monop with Love. The link shows the colour for what it really is, a deep pink, while on my pictures, it shows red (remember my curse with deep pink polishes?), and I was in the mood for stamping, so I started to look at my plates and then it struck me that I could go Valentine. There you have it, super classic, white heart on a pink (showing red) basis (the design is from plate Bundle Monster 202 and I used Konad white polish for the stamping):

As you can see, I made my design bleed with the top-coat, and while it didn't really bother me in real, it's quite shocking on picture, so I took my fine brush and corrected it:

Youpi, il neige!! Nous n'avons pas eu beaucoup de neige en Bourgogne cette année et c'est la première qu'il y a une belle couche bien épaisse, donc je saute partout comme une gamine. J'adore la neige et ça me manque quand l'hiver passe sans qu'il y en ait. Donc là, je suis dans mon bureau, et voilà ce que je vois par la fenêtre:

Mais aujourd'hui, on est le 14 février, donc l'inspiration du jour, ce n'est pas la neige, c'est tout ce qui est rose, gnangnan et à base de petits coeurs. Je  n'avais pas vraiment l'intention de faire une manucure de St Valentin, mais après avoir limé mes ongles hier, j'ai eu envie de porter From Monop with Love d'OPI. Le lien vous montre la couleur réelle du vernis, dans mes photos, il ressort rouge, je suis maudite! Ensuite, j'ai eu envie de faire un stamping et quand j'ai regardé mes plaques, je me suis dit que c'était l'occasion ou jamais. Donc voici un nail art pas très original mais très mignon, des coeurs blancs sur une base rose (le motif vient de la plaque Bundle Monster 202 et le stamping est fait avec le vernis blanc de Konad):

Comme vous pouvez le voir, j'ai fait baver le stamping avec le top-coat, et même si ça  ne se voyait pas trop en vrai, je trouve ça hyper choquant sur les photos, donc je l'ai corrigé au pinceau fin (comme quoi, beaucoup de choses peuvent se rattrapper!) :
