OPI Pink Shatter for Breast Cancer Awareness

Just a quick break from the Nice Stems Collection to relay some OPI news. We're still in OPI and in pink, but it's for a good cause. I saw this on one of my favourite blogs, Fashion Polish, check it out.

Une rapide pause dans les Nice Stems, même si l'on reste chez OPI et dans le rose. Cette nouvelle vient du blog Fashion Polish, c'est un de mes blogs préférés, je vous invite à y faire un tour. OPI nous propose de partir à l'assaut du cancer du sein.
Je ne vais pas traduire tout le communiqué, mais comme vous l'aurez compris avec la photo, il s'agit d'un nouveau Shatter en édition limitée, un rose pour lutter contre le cancer du sein, qui est une cause très soutenue aux Etats-Unis et à laquelle le mois d'Octobre est consacré. Tous les ans, plusieurs grands fabricants de vernis sortent des collections roses et OPI ne fait pas exception. Afin de rester dans la tendance 2011, c'est un shatter et les fonds collectés iront à l'association Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Ce vernis ne sera pas disponible hors USA mais comme toujours, on pourra le trouver sur internet.

OPI launches the limited edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. The 2011 Pink of Hearts edition will follow in the footsteps of its namesake 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Nail Lacquers in raising awareness of breast cancer for the fifth year in a row, during the months of September and October (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Each bottle of Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts has a special pink-ribbon tag and pink cap wrap to call attention to breast cancer awareness. OPI will also be making its annual donation of $25,000 to Komen for the Cure. Pink Shatter coat contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and it also features OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application.

The limited edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts will be available throughout the months of September and October 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Nail Lacquer.
